as to follow the Telangana culture ,. we, the people of telangana, 1stly have a vistit for VEMULAVADA RAJA RAJESHWARA TEMPLE in order to make a trip for medaram, so as in the case the lodge 's at vemulawada are renting to the peaks and also the crowd is increasing gradually. keeping in mind plan a safe trip for vemulawada as well as Medaram.

in this case the rooms which were alloted for the people by the government are not available and also the rooms running by private people also makes a little bit inconvenience. renting mininmum 1000 Rs/- per night.

MEDARAM Jatara tour tips

are you planning to moov MEDARAM Jatara in feb 2016

listen everybody,.. February 17th to 20th 2016  is the day of celebrate jathara,..

but generally people are mooving before 10 days. why because the tourists are minimum 2 crores approximatly reached in every year,.. if you are family person plan before to moov medaram.

if u are a single or bachlore better to you can moov on the day,.. it's lot of fun,.. heavy croud,.. journey feeling ,..etc,..etc,. everything is awesome.

in telangana culture,.. people are visit the VEMULAVADA Temple before MEDARAM.

may be jan & feb of 2016 days are fully busy with these 2 temples.

Travelling Tips:-


- Big Family people are better to plan with any 4wheeler 

- carry always water can.

- be care full of babies health,..lot of Dust around us.

- if u new to visit 1st time MEDARAM plan for visit more places like LAKNAVARAM, MALLURU (narasimha swamy), RAMAPPA TEMPLE,... all of these temple are in coming on route.

- Snow will eat you in this season,.. jathara's sourrounding location is total forest.

- No animal will not be Harm you in Jathara days.

On Thadawai warangal road  one can visit Laknavaram lake.Hanging bridge is major attraction here.

The Event Sammakka Sarakka Jatara 2016 Dates

• Sarakka or Saralamma godess to be brought to ‘gadde’ from Kannepalli on February 17.

• Sammakka to be brought to ‘gadde’ from Chilakalammagutta on February 18. 

• Lakhs of tribals to attend jatara on February 19 .

• The idols of goddesses to be taken back to forest on February 20.

TSRTC plans for Special buses and fare charges will be announced soon by the department of RTC. For the first time the government planning for online ticket booking.

Grand Celebrations for Sammakka Sarakka Jatara 2016 in telangana

Celebrate Sammakka Sarakka Jatara 2016 the presiding deities at the biggest tribal event celebrated in Telangana state, are likely to get an official guard of honour from the government during the first jatara in the new state.

Grand Celebrations to held for sammakka sarakka festival in telangana history and story makes mesmerism to all visitors in state.

The state government has decided to spend a massive Rs.150 crore for next year’s Sammakka Sarakka Jatara, one of the most famous Jatara of the state.

The minister has also said that they are expecting over 1.25 crore people would participate in the mega jatara.

TS govt allocates funds to Medaram Jatara

The Telangana government on Saturday sanctioned Rs 101 crore for the Medaram Jatara popularly known as Sammakka Sarakka Jatara.

Asia’s biggest tribal festival, which is held every two years for four days, is scheduled to be held in Februray next year. The government has alerted 18 departments to look after the preparatory works.

Sammakka Sarakka Jatara 2016 Dates

The new state will be celebrating the Sammakka-Sarakka jatara 2016 for the first time in February next year. It will be held at Medaram in Warangal district from February 17th to 20th 2016.

At a meeting held here on Wednesday endowments minister A Indrakaran Reddy reviewed the arrangements for the jatara. Tribal welfare minister Ajmera Chandulal, Mahbubabad MP Seetaram Naik and other officials took part in the meeting.
Naik said gun shots should be fired into the air when the presiding deities were brought to the ‘gadde’ (throne). “To give due respect to the deities, the guard of honour should be given officially,” he suggested and added that he would take up the matter with chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. The ministers concurred with Naik.
It was pointed out that traditional dances like Koya were not performed while welcoming the goddesses to the ‘gadde’ during the jatara in the erstwhile combined state. “We will request chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to accord guard of honour officially from this year,” the MP said while talking to reporters along with  Indrakaran Reddy after the meeting. The biennial Sammakka Sarakka Jatara 2016, also called Medaram Jatara, is the biggest cultural event in Asia and the state government is leaving no stone unturned to make it a grand event.
